"Dragonfly Whispers"

"On diaphanous wings beating rhythmically
with a never ending and yearning pulse
a flash of spectral light so near
shimmering blues, greens and gold,
dancing with you, with nature.

Hovering forever near you,
like a treasured brilliant star,
my gentle heart begins to whisper
lightly unto your heart,
and softly upon your ear.

“Never doubt my cherished love,
for I am always near.
Just close your eyes,
and call my name,
so soon I will appear.”
